Visitors are welcome. Some patients require or request restricted visiting hours and numbers of people visiting. Visitors should check with the nursing staff before entering a room.

Visiting Outside Normal Hours ::..

Visits may be arranged outside visiting hours with the consent of the nursing staff in the unit.

Patient Consideration ::..

A patient's state of health and that of other patients sharing a room should be considered, often brief visits with fewer people is less stressful for patients. Noise should be kept to a minimum.

It would be appreciated if children who are visiting were closely supervised and not permitted to wander freely around the hospital. Visitors and children suffering from colds, flu and other contagious ailments should avoid visiting; consider telephoning and wait until they have recovered before visiting the hospital.
